Managing Director, Lambeth GP Federation

Therese has always enjoyed working in primary care. With an NHS career spanning almost 30 years she has held several senior roles in the NHS both as a provider and commissioner playing an instrumental role in the transformation of primary care in Lambeth.

Joining the Lambeth GP Federations in 2015 as their Managing Director she has supported their development and ongoing success over the last 5 years.

When Therese is not working, she loves to travel and spends most of her holidays with family in Texas, USA.

Michele began her career in the NHS nearly 10 years ago as Practice Manager at a walk-in centre in Sutton and Merton.

She moved to Lambeth in 2013 joining Herne Hill Group Practice as their Business Manager.

After completing the Lambeth Emerging Leaders Programme, she took on the role of Director for the Lambeth GP Federation.

Her vision for the Federation is to work collaboratively with member practices to deliver excellent and accessible care to patients in the local community.

Outside of the office, Michele loves to travel especially going on girls’ trips or escaping to her small home in North Italy with family.

Jayesh has worked in the NHS for 16 years and holds a variety of roles within primary care.  He is a GP Partner at Pavilion Medical Centre and Hetherington Group Practice, as well as a GP Non-Executive Director for SELDOC.

In 2016 he was appointed Chair Director of the Lambeth GP Federation, his role includes, finance, contracts, business procurement/development, GP access hubs and care homes.

Jayesh is determined to ensure that the Federation supports general practice to remain sustainable and continue to deliver high quality care to all Lambeth residents.

Justin earned his MA, MB and BChir at Cambridge University and then completed his training and began work as a Lambeth GP in 1988.  He is a partner at Valley Road Surgery in Streatham, with an interest in complex care, end of life care, child health, Mental health and mind body/interface. He is committed to supporting the Lambeth GP Federation in playing a lead role alongside interested parties. Justin believes whole person medicine that takes account of mind, body and social interests of patients is the bread and butter of general practice.

When Justin is not supporting local people in improving their own health and wellbeing you will find him long distance cycling or jamming on his Bass Guitar and Spoons.
